Storybook Swing Coat
Make Your Own Storybook Swing Coat
A Creative Sewing Workshop
Join us for a relaxed, hands‑on sewing workshop where you’ll create a Storybook Swing Coat using the beautifully modern 'Matchy Matchy' aesthetic.
This workshop is all about learning, making, and enjoying the process—whether you’re building confidence with garment sewing or adding a new statement piece to your wardrobe.
What You’ll Make
During the workshop, you’ll sew a swing‑style coat with a timeless silhouette and playful proportions. The finished coat is designed to be easy to wear, layer, and personalise with your own fabric choices. You’ll learn techniques that can be reused in future projects, giving you skills as well as a finished garment.
What You’ll Learn
- Understanding and working with a garment sewing pattern.
- Cutting fabric accurately and confidently.
- Constructing a swing‑style coat step by step.
- Sewing seams, hems, and facings neatly.
- Tips for achieving a professional finish.
- How to customise details to make the coat your own.
Guidance is provided throughout, with time for questions and individual help.
