Create and Decorate Your Own House on a Ceramic Platter

Join us for an engaging workshop where attendees will have the opportunity to craft their very own ceramic platter from scratch.

Guided by expert instructors, participants will learn essential techniques for shaping and forming their platters, ensuring a creative and enjoyable experience. No drawing skills are needed! Simply bring or send in a photograph of your house ahead of time, and we’ll prepare a custom outline for you. The drawing of your house will be printed onto tracing paper, making it easy for you to transfer and copy the image onto your platter using specialised ceramic drawing tools. This personal touch will turn every platter into a unique piece of art, reflecting the individuality of each participant.  After firing everyone will take home a beautifully decorated platter, perfect for display or everyday use.

No prior experience is required, and all materials will be provided.

We look forward to seeing you for a morning of creativity and fun!

You will also come back and glaze your creation with glazes and oxides. They will then be fired once more and returned to you approx 2 weeks later.

This workshop is for beginners or those that have worked with ceramics before. 

Please wear old clothes or those you don't mind getting clay on.

There will be refreshments available throughout the workshop, including some cake.
