Cow Parsley Sgraffito Vase

Learn the Art of Sgraffito with a British Floral Twist

Join us for a hands-on workshop where you'll create your own ceramic vase adorned with the delicate motif of cow parsley using the sgraffito technique.

Guided by an experienced ceramic artist, you'll begin by shaping your vase and applying layers of coloured slip. Once the slip has set, you'll be shown how to carefully carve away the surface, revealing intricate cow parsley designs inspired by the British countryside. 

By the end of the session, you'll have a beautiful, bespoke vase ready for firing, along with the skills to continue exploring sgraffito in your own ceramic projects.

Your vase will be fired in our kiln and returned to you approx 2 weeks later.

Refreshments will be provided, and you'll enjoy a relaxed, creative atmosphere alongside fellow pottery enthusiasts.

No prior experience is required, and all materials will be provided.

This workshop is for beginners or those that have worked with ceramics before. 

Please wear old clothes or those you don't mind getting clay on.

There will be refreshments available throughout the workshop, including some cake.
