Ceramic Decorative Candle Shelf

This is such a lovely workshop... make a decorative shelf to hang on the wall and hold a little candle. 

You can make this as whimsical or sophisticated as you like from your own design or one of ours. 

You will learn how to use the slab roller and rolling pins to first get the clay ready. Text stamps and other decorations will then be added as well as hand sculpted decoration and sprigs.

Your creations will be bisque fired and then you can come back and use glazes and oxides to further enhance and colour/decorate it. 

It will then be further glaze fired and returned to you approx 2 weeks later.

This workshop is for beginners or those that have worked with ceramics before. 

Please wear old clothes or those you don't mind getting clay on.

There will be refreshments available throughout the workshop, including some cake.

25th July 2026 1-4pm plus a further session for glazing (to be arranged individually)
