Ceramic Herb Labels and Pot

In this workshop you will be making a set of herb labels plus a cute pot to store them in. 

You will learn how to use the slab roller and rolling pins to first get the clay ready. We will then cut the labels out and use real herb leaves to imprint their shape and texture. Text stamps and other decorations will then be added.

We will also hand build a pot to keep the labels in which you can also decorate and make your own. 

Your creations will be bisque fired and then you can come back and use glazes and oxides to further enhance and colour/decorate them. 

These will then be further glaze fired and returned to you approx 2 weeks later.

This workshop is for beginners or those that have worked with ceramics before. 

Please wear old clothes or those you don't mind getting clay on.

There will be refreshments available throughout the workshop, including some cake.
