Ceramic Bookends

In this workshop you will be making a pair of bookends to your own design or one of ours! 

You may have seen this challenge on the Pottery Throw Down series, we did and we loved them. 

You will learn how to slab and hand build the bookend forms which will then be decorated with texture, sculptural forms and sprigs.

The sculptures will be bisque fired and then you can come back and use glazes and oxides to further enhance and colour/decorate your bookends. 

These will then be further glaze fired and returned to you approx 2 weeks later.

This workshop is for beginners or those that have worked with ceramics before. 

Please wear old clothes or those you don't mind getting clay on.

There will be refreshments available throughout the workshop, including some cake.
