Ceramic Beach Hut
Bring a touch of the seaside into clay and create your own charming ceramic beach hut. Inspired by colourful coastal huts and relaxed days by the shore, this hands‑on workshop invites you to slow down, get creative, and enjoy working with clay. You’ll design and build a unique beach hut sculpture, adding seaside details, textures, and decorative touches that reflect your own style.
- Hand‑build a ceramic beach hut using simple clay techniques
- Take inspiration from coastal colours, patterns, and architecture
- Add doors, windows, textures, and playful seaside details
Your creations will be bisque fired and then you can come back and use glazes and oxides to further enhance and colour/decorate it. It will then be further glaze fired and returned to you approx 2 weeks later.
This workshop is for beginners or those that have worked with ceramics before.
Please wear old clothes or those you don't mind getting clay on.
There will be refreshments available throughout the workshop, including some cake.
18th August 2026 6-8.30pm plus a further session for glazing (to be arranged individually) £45 including all materials.
