First weekend a success!

First weekend a success!

What an incredible start to the Emsworth Arts Trail! We're thrilled to share that over 1,000 visitors came through our doors during the first weekend, and the energy and enthusiasm were absolutely wonderful.

The weekend was packed with engaging activities that brought art to life. Our wheel throwing demonstrations captivated visitors as they watched clay transform before their eyes, while the kids art treasure hunts kept younger guests entertained and exploring throughout the space. The highlight for many was undoubtedly our raku demonstrations—a mesmerising process that never fails to draw a crowd.

We're proud to showcase the work of eight talented artists who share this vibrant creative space. Each brings their own unique vision and expertise:

  • Jo Silcock — paintings
  • Allan Davies — etchings and paintings
  • Anna Riley — stained glass
  • Robin Feild — photography
  • Deborah Richards — painting
  • Sarah-Jane Beacher — seaglass and copper
  • Jules Roper — printing
  • Kathryn Seal — glass and ceramics

The diversity of mediums and styles on display means there's truly something for everyone. Whether you're drawn to traditional painting and printmaking, contemporary glass work, or the intricate beauty of stained glass and seaglass jewellery, our collective has it all.

Thank you to everyone who visited, supported our artists, and made the first weekend such a success. If you missed it, we look forward to welcoming you this weekend - 10-5pm each day.  Raku demonstrations take place at 2pm and wheel throwing from 11-1pm.
