Spend a day working with precut pieces, allowing you to focus on the piecing and quilting without the hassle of cutting, although you will be taught how to cut fabric, so you will be able to recreate this at home or at our Sewing Club.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAll materials are provided, including fabrics for the front and back of the quilt and the wadding for the middle.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAll you need to do is book, relax, and show up!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eYou will have a choice of colour for the quilt border.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eFinished Quilt Size:\u003c\/strong\u003e Approximately 55″ square\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDuring this day course, we will work with precut 10″ squares to create a classic patchwork quilt. Using precut pieces allows us to focus on piecing, learning how to work with accurate seam allowances, and matching and nesting seams. We will also explore the best ways to press your work, which are all essential patchwork skills. Once the quilt top is completed, we will consider the best methods for basting the quilt layers together. This stage involves adding the wadding and the fabric for the back of the quilt. Finally, we will move on to quilting options and how to achieve the best results. The final step in the process is to add the binding to the edge of the quilt.
